Applications are built round by round, with a reusable form at the heart of each. This guide walks an admin through creating one end to end.<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Create the application<\/h3>\n

Go to Admin Panel \u2192 Applications<\/strong> and select Create new application<\/strong> (or Edit<\/strong> an existing one). Every application in the list carries quick actions: Invite link<\/strong>, Responses<\/strong>, Edit<\/strong> and More<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Customize the landing page<\/h3>\n

This is the first page applicants see \u2014 set its title, description and branding so it reflects your program.<\/p>\n

3. Set up each round<\/h3>\n

An application can have several rounds<\/strong> (for example: an initial form, then due diligence, then interviews). For each round, set the start and end date & time<\/strong> and timezone<\/strong>, choose a round type<\/strong> (such as “Form only”, or one that includes evaluation), then choose a form<\/strong> \u2014 or build one with Edit form \/ Create new form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4. Configure the application settings<\/h3>\n

In the Application Settings<\/strong> panel, set:<\/p>\n

  • Type of application<\/strong> (e.g. a company\/venture application)<\/li>\n
  • Accepted users’ role<\/strong> \u2014 the role successful applicants receive (e.g. Founders)<\/li>\n
  • Accepted Ventures’ program<\/strong> \u2014 which program they join on acceptance<\/li>\n
  • Application language<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Evaluator assignment mode<\/strong>, and whether evaluators can view other rounds’ evaluations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    5. Set the outcome emails & share<\/h3>\n

    Write your Accepted<\/strong> and Rejected<\/strong> application emails, then share the application’s Invite link<\/strong> wherever your applicants are.<\/p>\n

    Forms are reusable<\/strong> A form is its own object: build it once and attach it to any round or application. Edit the form, and every round using it stays in sync.<\/div>\n
