GREEN GROWTH AND JOBS ACCELERATOR

The Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator supports established entrepreneurs and SMEs to accelerate green growth of their businesses to contribute local transition to a more green and sustainable economy and enable green jobs for women and youth in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia.

Over five years, in collaboration with Flat6Labs, UNDP will deliver strategic business development advisory on green growth and support companies with business instruments to grow their business in the four Arab countries. The Accelerator process offers capacity building, mentoring and access to external experts and networks from the local, regional, and global business development ecosystems to help the SMEs accelerate their business solutions. The project aims to empower youth in the four countries through engaging young people as co-creators and advisory capacity to businesses partaking in the accelerator programme.

The Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator is designed to support SMEs to rapidly grow their businesses and adopt green practices for more sustainable operation. Over a dynamic 5-month journey, the Accelerator provides a combination of top-notch training, personalized mentorship through 1:1 sessions, and exclusive networking opportunities to connect with potential investors and financial institutions. This will help SMEs foster innovation, expand their operations by adopting a more sustainable and environmentally friendly business model, overcome challenges, and support job creation.
