Each coaching session and request has its own chat thread, where you can prepare beforehand and follow up afterwards. You can also reach people directly from the Members directory using Message. Messages arrive by both in-platform notification and email.
Keep it in the thread. Chatting in the session thread keeps the history attached to the work โ handy when you pick things back up weeks later.
