Babele is role-based: what you see and what you can do depends on the role you’ve been given in each space. Here are the roles you’ll come across.
- Founder — a member of a venture in the program; works through activities, submits deliverables and books coaching.
- Mentor / Coach — an expert who supports ventures, reviews their work and runs sessions.
- Evaluator — reviews and scores applications during selection.
- Investor — explores ventures and connects around funding opportunities.
- Corporate partner — engages with ventures around challenges and collaboration.
- Alumni — a graduate of a past cohort who stays connected to the community.
- Admin / Program manager — designs and runs the program, and sets everyone else’s permissions.
Permissions are granular and configured by your program admin, so the very same role can have slightly different abilities from one program to another.
One person, several roles It’s common to hold more than one role at once — for example, an admin who also mentors a couple of ventures, or an investor who is also an alumnus. Babele simply combines what each of your roles allows.
If you believe you’re missing access you should have, your program admin can adjust it.
